Eddy's Poetry
I'd like to fly
Right thru the sky
Beneath the starry daylight.
I'd bathe my soul
In shades of gold
The sun has shed
In passing.
Befriend the clouds;
Seductive and Luxurious.
Entwine me
In their freedom.
They whisper tell
God's secrets
So high above
The treetops.
I'll ride the winds
In heaven's bliss
Unbound by
Mortal boundaries.
I'll chase my
Dreams,
And see the scenes
Behind
God's well kept secrets.
Aloft
As silent thunder
In His own
Fashioned Lover.

The Zoo...The Zoo
Let's go to the zoo,
And smell the smells
Of human shoes
Their souls of
melted rubber.
The zoo......the zoo!
Let's break some rules
And screw
With all the animals.
You see
Do you see?
Let's turn 'em free
Unchain their feet,
Unchain their wings
The queen,
Her bees.
The seals.
The bears!
Just watch
Eyes spin in
Horror and
Amazement.
We'll get such
Satisfaction.
We'll laugh and
Laugh.
In caves and dens
The beasts
have all abandoned.
We'll have their beds
And throw out bread
And wave to friends
That came
To see it
Happen.

Imagine how
The first bird did feel,
Born of fiery thunder.
Gifted
With powers never
wondered
By those deemed fit
To see it.
Imagine how
Mother lizard did feel
When her eggs revealed
Creatures
As common as
Bird's teeth
With feathered
Funny scales.
Imagine how
Huge lizards lusted
To live among
The nature Lovers.
And how they planned
Such clever disguises
Allowing them
To fly about
Our modern sky.
And no one
notices
The Dinosaurs
That nest in
Gardens
With eggs so small
And harmless.

This poem was written by Eddy for his older brother, Gordon, and his wife, Kim.
Gordy and Kim disappeared at sea in 1984 while sailing around the world.
Nomads of time
Sail down the line
Take your lives
And find
What treasures
That await you.
You'll be guided
By our souls
A crew that will never
fail you.
For all the elements
That Be
Shall become
Your family.
The Moon...Your mother
She'll guide you by
Her midnight light.
The winds that fill your
Sails,
Shall be your sisters
To assist you.
Your sturdy craft
Shall be your father
Fore and Aft.
And if you wish
To find your brother
I'll be there
With all the others, Through stormy times
I'll hide the thunder
I'll be there
To man the rudder.
Sail free,
Enjoy the peace
That be,
For God will never
Hurt you.
Enjoy the night
And daylight bright,
The treasures
That He gave
You Two.
