| Eschner Family Home | Ed's Celebration November 17, 2007 Hemenway Park
It was a spectacular event. In true Eddy fashion, about 40 Big Horn Sheep attended the services hanging out on the lawn just beyond the gathering. A covey of quail arrived to pay due respects, some wild bunnies, a road runner and Ed himself in the form of a great big bird of prey (pray!)a falcon or hawk...sat on the power poles above the ceremony for four hours watching over us. It didn't fly away until the party was over and we all watched as we walked to our cars. The lake Ed loved so much held a peaceful, powerful presence in the distance and the sunset spotlighted Wilson Ridge as we were leaving. The animals, the elements and the love...simply perfect. |
